ESOS  

Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is a mandatory energy assessment and energy saving identification for larger business throughout the UK. The scheme is designed to lower energy consumption, save waste and provide cost savings by adopting our recommendations.  This involves 3 phases and must either be ISO50001 certified or be delivered by a qualified lead assessor:

• Measurement of Energy Consumption.
• Energy Audits which identify cost-effective energy efficiency recommendations.
• Report to the Environment Agency.

Although mandatory there are still many thousands of businesses who have still not had their ESOS assessment. We offer the opportunity to spread the cost of your ESOS assessment over the 5 year period, helping to phase in our recommendations.

ENERGY PERFORMANCE RATING

We can deliver Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)  across your property portfolio using our accredited assessors who are specifically trained.  EPCs must be provided for any property with a floor area of ≥ 500M2. Drivers for new EPCs include the sale/rental or  completion of a building or a change in occupation. Display Energy Certificates (DECs) are required for publicly owned buildings exceeding 500m2 and must be displayed by law.  The associated advisory report is valid for a period of 7 years, although the energy readings creating the DEC are valid for 12 months only.

AIR CONDITIONING SURVEYS

We can also check the condition and energy consumption of your air conditioning systems – which if not properly managed and maintained can impact dramatically on your energy consumption.  This survey is also known as a TM44 Survey.  To find out more click here.
